Revolution Studios has secured a new project from emerging writers Bryan Sipe and Lorene Scafaria.

The spec script, titled "Legend Has It," was acquired for a sum potentially reaching the mid-six figures.

Todd Garner, a partner at Revolution, will manage development alongside executive Navid McIlhargey, who introduced the project to the studio.

Sipe, aged 24, has already directed and co-written the independent film "A Million Miles."

This feature, which includes music by Bruce Springsteen, is part of festival circuits and will screen in New York this week.

Scafaria, a trained playwright, recently had her work "That Guy and Others Like Him" produced off-Broadway.

This agreement represents the first creative partnership between Sipe and Scafaria.
