Into the Wild in Germany offers a one-year mentorship experience for young women from film schools across the country, incorporating a screenwriting camp and culminating in a pitch presentation at respected festivals such as Filmfestival Munich and the Max Ophüls-Festival.

Women in Post in Canada expands upon the existing Netflix and Canadian Academy Directors Program for Women, offering an eight-month program focused on mentorship and skills development within post-production for women creatives nationwide.

The Narrative Short Film Incubator for Women of Color, run by the National Association of Latino Independent Producers, supports Latinx women and women of color in developing and producing short film projects through dedicated funding, production resources, and ongoing mentorship.

As we mark International Women's Day, it feels fitting to also honor those who came before — the women who pushed boundaries, broke barriers, and made space in an industry that was not always willing to make room for them.
