What transpired in the emergency meeting over MK in Stellenbosch; EFF, IFP, DA, ANC will be the main parties that will be used to fight against MK.
But what is clear is that they were caught by surprise on the response on MK when Jacob Zuma announced his association, they didn't expect this turn of events. Yes, they wanted ANC to be split in order to decrease its voting power, but they don't want it to go below a certain percentage so that they can still use it for a coalition. Basically they want a 2/3rds majority coalition... roughly a 30% ANC - 25% DA - +-5% VF Plus...EFF will remain on the fence, waiting for offers...and then they will negotiate with EFF and IFP with the anticipation that all other votes lost by the ANC will be split amongst ATM, UDM, ACDP, PA etc.
Now here comes Jacob Zuma with MK...this basically changes the whole political spectrum, now they see the possibility and reality of all of them losing votes to the MK and this will totally jeopardize their coalition goals.
So it has been concluded that the ANC's image must be saved, the media has been briefed to give more airtime to the ANC.
Legal fees to fight the MK have been consolidated, judges have been briefed, MK leadership to be announced will be profiled looking for anything to tarnish their reputations, they will basically use anything at their disposal to disrupt MK. So do not be surprised when you are seeing Starcom media that was against the ANC now turning around and speaking positively about the ANC, they are protecting the agenda.
Lastly, their secret weapon that Cyril Ramapauser spoke about... they will rig the elections in favour of a particular percentage for ANC in order for the coalition to work. There will be time when they will be asked if they want out or in...and the current top ANC leadership will gladly participate because they are hypocrites that will not want to lose their positions.
So technically, the coalition is still winning...not unless you open your eyes and know about their agenda and how it will operate.
