Before they came with their story of Cain and Abel, everyone was a landlord in this village. there were no homeless people in any part of Africa, as age grades would team up together to start building houses collectively for one another, free of charge.

In the olden days, life was so easy. Africans lived a communal life. When a man reached the age of 17, his age grade would contribute to building a house for him for free. He would also do the same for others.

No one got paid for doing so; it was free of charge. Community development was an important role and duty of the youth in the society.

Everyone joyfully helped one another to stand as a man and have a shelter over their heads.
